Current Vibes: @Oddisee | Own Appeal

Sadly, we first got put on to this Natural King at the 2012 Trillectro music festival [better late than never]. This Young PG playa turned brooklynite is a few months fresh off a world tour but stays pumping without ever missing a beat. Currently touring through the states but nothing stops this archietect from craving out tunes of life.

Oddisee is steady making music and back to hit us with the one two combination. Not only is he blessing us with a new mixtape ‘Tangible Dreams’, he’s set to release an album, ‘The Beauty in All’ in October.

Fade into the vibe of ‘Own Appeal’ produced and written by Oddisee himself; and be on the look out for both the EP and album dropping October 1st.

Pre-order his new album on iTunes now!

Current Vibes: GOD|Hifi

Get with the current vibe.

Melo-X beastin’ on the Trill/ectro tip. Mashing up a fusion of reggae, hip-hop, 90s R&B, edm and soul. Maybe he’ll be an addition to next years Trillectro line up.. (wishful thinking).

If you don’t hear anything else, hear THE TRUTH!

Just in Case you Missed it: @KendrickLamar’s Challenge to the Rap Game

We already know KDot is that dude but he unleashed a sizeable challenge on Big Sean’s new track Control (HOF) yesterday. Calling out a few heavy weights in the rap game right now. Kendrick is ushering in the awakening; let’s see who will up-the-ante and raise their bars. Check out the track below:

*sidebar* Kendrick did that!
Just start it at 5:08 he faded everyone on the track including the legendary Jay Electronica. Sheesh! Respect though, it’s about time somebody bucks shots and disrupts nirvana.

Current Vibes: Like Water

It’s been a minute since we’ve hit you with some new music.
The Pro Era crew put together some visuals for the Like Water track off the “Peep the Apocalypse” mixtape. A track modeled after common’s noteworthy album “Like Water for Chocolate”. The track pays homage to one of the generals of the beast coast movement, the late Jamal “Jay Steez” Dewar aka Capital Steez.
Steelo was the true mastermind behind the ProEra and Beast Coast front.
