#FashionFriday Spotlight: Dior “READY TO WEAR” Spring 2014 Collection

Steering his third season at the creativity wheel of Dior, Raf Simons wants to raise the temperature by bringing high demanding looks; only seen here. “It’s the DNA that I’m very attracted to myself, like nature and some flowers, everything we know so well from the brand,” he said before the show. “It’s challenging to see how I can deal with those elements that we all think about when we think about Dior, but also twisting them around seriously.”

Focusing highly on day-wear, Simmons accessorized with a smart, new look with the Lady Dior cutout leather bag. At the finale, the models changed swiftly into short evening dresses or either the black tailored looks. Translating into metallic-like silver floral jacquards, these exquisite silhouettes stood out as they sparkled in every moment. This Fashion Forward “READY TO WEAR” Dior Spring 2014 Collection will be taking over the fashion Industry by storm this year.

Fashion Friday Spotlight: The House of Fenty Baudelaire Parker

via chelseykristen.wordpress.com

An American Fashion label that specializes in luxurious goods for men and women, The House of Fenty Baudelaire Parker is taking over the fashion industry day by day. Founded in 2012, this elegant label consist of three lines: Fenty, Baudelaire and Parker. My favorite line is “Parker” containing high-end handmade gowns, specializing in luxury items only. Every piece of garment is high quality and sewn with extreme detail from the designer himself, Nathanael Alessandroni.

Mr. Alessandroni uses his gifts and multi talents to hand make garments. Summer of 2013 Alessandroni started to design for celebrities such Pia Toscano, Darcy LePier, Mel B, Nikki Leonti, Ashanti, and Ivy Levan.

“I’ve been designing since June of this year outside of Costume Design and these are my accomplishments so far in the fashion industry…Never give up on your dreams…it all starts with you…can’t wait to show you who’s next! Very excited for the future of Fenty Baudelaire Parker” Alessandroni stated on his Instagram post from a week ago. As The House of Fenty Baudelaire Parker grows, Street Intell will keep you updated on their every move as they succeed within the fashion industry.

Tis’ the season of thanks and giving. Find out how you can get involved by volunteering (or donating) at these local events.

With temperatures dropping and the holidays approaching there is no better reason to donate your time, effort and money to those in need. No matter how small, there is no amount of giving that won’t be beneficial. Although servicing your community should be a yearly endeavor; time and attention to our neighbors is needed even more during these harsh fall/winter months.

Several individuals, organizations and groups have set out to support their community. Join in by sharing the Street Intell, donating items and/or monetary contributions.
